Anika Nicoll joined the Portland Bolt team at the start of 2023 shortly after graduating from The University of Idaho where she majored in Public Relations with a minor in Media Communications. While attending college she also volunteered abroad in Split, Croatia in their creative technology program which sparked her interest in traveling and photography. Growing up in a very sports-centered family, Anika played Indoor and beach volleyball for over 10 years and spends her free time watching volleyball and attending as many Blazer games as possible. In addition, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and is a very avid traveler and hiker who has visited five countries so far. The rest of her free time is spent with family and friends, exploring new spots in Portland, or hanging out with her German Shepard Bear.
